Future Factory - career orientation for young people in the VG Asbach

Under the motto "Your future is our passion", five volunteer mentors have come together to act as mediators between young people and companies in the municipalty Asbach, supported by the Wirtgen Stiftungen and in cooperation with the administration of municipality Asbach.

Based on their strengths and interests, the mentors want to support the young people so that they receive orientation for the time after school and thus starting their career. The Future Factory acts as a low-threshold mentor and advisor, and when needed provides guidance to support organisations such as the careers advice service at the employment agency or to companies directly and personally.

Once the young people have made contact, the next steps are agreed together in an individual discussion. Among the services offered by the Future Factory are for example, company visits, preparation of application documents, preparation for job interviews and assessment centres as well as support during internships or apprenticeships.

The Wirtgen Stiftungen, together with the business development organisation of the municipalty Asbach, want to make a contribution to the region as a place to live and connect local young people with local companies.
