WIRTGEN INVEST’S NEW BUILDING. LOOKING TO THE FUTURE.

Growth is one of WIRTGEN INVEST’s fundamental values. Not growth at any price, but in line with its own ideals: Creating value. Increasing value. Living value. Work has begun on the construction of the new head office in the Rahms business park in the parish of Asbach. As a sign of the company’s long-term approach, it acquired the entire designated business park. WIRTGEN INVEST’s new home is being constructed on a 100,000 m2 plot. With the acquisition, WIRTGEN INVEST is creating space for growth and expansion – and making a clear statement of its commitment to the region in the process.

AN EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR GOOD WORK.

WIRTGEN INVEST is currently working out of rented premises in Windhagen. The new building, consisting of three connected building sections and around 6,000 m2 floor space spread across three storeys, creates space for future growth and new ideas. In addition to the unique floor plan and design of the building and facade, a high priority was given to its functionality. The result is 65 modern, bright office workplaces. The charity organisation “Kinder in Not” will also be given a new home in the new building. The attractive new building fascinates with bold architectural features, such as an expansive glazed frontage and convincing combination of natural stone, glass and metal used for the building envelope. The architecture and facade merge harmoniously into the landscape. Thanks to its southerly orientation, the building will reward and motivate those working in it with spectacular views of the Westerwald hills.
The renowned and multiple award-winning architectural office KEGGENHOFF I PARTNER is responsible for the overall architectural and interior design.
The architects sgp HACHTEL I BAUER GmbH are responsible for execution planning, tendering and site management.

THE FUTURE MEANS SUSTAINABILITY.

The building weds impressive architecture with high levels of efficiency and sustainability. The new construction sets new standards here in particular. The energy concept of the building far exceeds the standards set out in the current Energy Saving Ordinance. The heating concept relies on geothermal energy supported by a photovoltaic system on the roof. Moreover, the building makes use of all energy efficiency standards, including when it comes to insulation. Wirtgen Invest’s new company headquarters should be ready to move into in the second half of 2020.
