WIRTGEN INVEST further strengthens its strategic position in the hotel sector with the acquisition of Motel One in Munich’s Schillerstraße, a sustainable hotel complex that will integrate perfectly into the existing real estate portfolio thanks to its prime location in the Bavarian state capital of Munich.

Located in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station, the property is being constructed to high standards of sustainability and will achieve LEED Gold certification.

Thanks to its central location, the site has excellent access to the public transport network. This is complemented by the mobility concept of its private underground car park, which is equipped with a comprehensive charging infrastructure for all parking spaces.

The hotel, which features a total of 269 rooms and approximately 10,000 m² of floor space, is scheduled for completion by the beginning of 2025 and will be leased to Motel One on a long-term basis. Known for its unique combination of high-quality architecture, outstanding design, and pronounced focus on service, the hotel operator's decision to lease the property was based in part on the hotel's unique location directly adjacent to Munich's main railway station.
